Swarovski & SS (finally!)
I finally got some SS (although it must not have been the right "hardness" b/c it was sooooo hard to work with!) . . . It didn't turn out exactly how I wanted - I wanted my coils closer to the beads, but I couldn't get it to cooperate . . . well, I can't complain too much, the wire was given to me . . .
anywho . . . here goes!

You need dead soft wire to do rings, some people even hammer it to harden a little.
It is a very pretty ring!!

Amy - me too!! LOVE IT!! I've got a bracelet and earrings made w/ these same beads - so it all matches!! [:D]

Gosh ya'll!! love the wonderful compliments!! thanks muches deb, fenian, elly & syl! Yes, it has become addictive!! I can't wait to order some DS SS . . . I wonder how half-hard would do as a ring? Any ideas? I know Jenny had said that Dead Soft was needed . . . just curious . . .

Hi, Steph (countin' down 'til the "D" hour, eh?) [:P] I haven't tried rings, yet, but...I understand 18ga Soft wire is a pretty kewl way to go...(here's another tut that I found, btw...I KNOW you're the pro...this is for others). http://www.wikihow.com/Make-a-Spiral-Wire-Bead-Ring They specify 18ga Soft, for what it's worth...love ya, darlin'! listen - there ain't no way that I'm a pro at this!! I'm just having fun experimenting!!! [:D][:D] I'm gonna hafta try that tut myself!! If I can find the right wire & bead, that is!! I think I'll try it w/ 20g though . . . smaller & will probably fit better . . .
