    Star Light Star Bright (Eni Style Flower)

    Well, hello folks, It's been a while. Too busy with regular work and not enough time for play. This is the flower I have been looking for to make. I found the tute on Eni's site, but I changed it just a tad. I wanted more overlaying pedals. I made this with 26g SS dead soft wire, Tourmalines surround the outside of each pedal. I also have SS seed beads and Citrine in the center with larger SS beads.The picture is not the greatest and does not show the brilliance of the stones, but it's good. Enjoy and thanks for letting me share.

    This is absolutely lovely! You should be proud. [;)] Did you use half hard or full hard wire to make your petals? I've been wanting to make a flower in this style but I've not given it a go yet ... will probably be some time yet before I give it a go as I've not had much creative time lately. :( I sooo need a fix too! :::sigh::: Ahh well, vacation time is coming soon, maybe I'll get to play some then?

    Delia, I know about not enough time. I'm in software compliance and now we are being audited on software licenses for our company and it's killing me. I worked all weekend and still have not finished. This is my true passion, just no time and no insurance that comes by doing it. Thanks for the comments. Oh BTW, it is 26g Dead Soft SS wire.

    This is absolutely lovely...you did an outstanding job on the pendant...and as I am very into ribbon lately...I love the ribbon necklace....beautiful work...the colors are gorgeous!

    I was still thinking about putting this on a chain. No idea yet though. It doesn't look too bad on the ribbon, I just wanted to get it out there.

    You know, I went back to look at the bag the wire came in and it just said S. It feels a little hard. I bet any money it is partially hard. It doesn't feel like dead soft and it was a little bit hard to maneuver. I would bet it was.
