Where can i find tiara bands

Hello. I am looking to find the flat tiara base bands in sterling silver and gold filled. I'm talking about the ones that are just the base (no beading yet) so that I can add beading. I have found a silver plated one at Jo Ann fabrics - but i need real silver and gold. Here is an example of what I'm talking about because it is hard to explain (this is the one from jo anns - but i've already beaded it - so ignore the beads and check out the base):

Any help is MORE than appreciated. Thanks again!

For sterling and gold filled ones you will most likely have to make them yourself.

Thank you for all of your help. I do have another question - where can I buy square shaped wire? This was in the tutorial that elly sent and I think that's a good idea - but I'm not sure I've ever seen this type of wire before - any ideas??

Hi, bridal! Garsh, the square wire can be found in several places...one is a vendor called MonsterSlayer (under Silver Mill Products); another would be WigJig http://www.wigjig.com/jewelry-tools/WJU/techniques/measures/pg10.htm....yet, another is Paramount Wire Co. http://www.parawire.com/jewelry_wire.html and I believe FMG has wire, too...http://www.firemountaingems.com/wire.asp, though, their shipping is pretty outrageous! Another, is Artbeads http://www.artbeads.com/ , with NO shipping in the U.S. and minimal shipping in Canada, I believe.

Personally, I recommend (above all) Monster Slayer or ArtBeads. I've heard great things about M.S. and ArtBeads has no shipping costs. (I have had, however, some problems with oxidizing the 18ga silver I've received from A.B.--just a precautionary note). There's SO many sources, perhaps, other's on this forum can guide ya further, eh? I'd recommend, also, that you Bookmark the ones that work for you, bridal...good luck in our mission! [swg]
