    New Polymer Clay DVD

I created a dvd to show you a professional and easy way of making photo transfer polymer clay beads and cabochons. This dvd also will teach you how to wire wrap your beads into wearable pendants too! Preorders are available and will be released July 20th. I have to share this awesome technique. I had posted a free technique that is obsolete... hands down.

I'm confused - did you FIND a DVD or did you MAKE a DVD?

    RE: New Polymer Clay DVD

I bought Matthew's wire wrapping DVD, and highly recommend it if you're interested in adding a little flair to your work. Very easy to follow.

May just have to get your new DVD, Matthew!

Hi Matthew, Sorry, but I'm not sure what do you mean by this statement. Are you talking about the post here?

I'm assuming that was you posting under another name, or are there 2 Matthews? It's a little confusing because you seem to be referring to yourself in the third person on that post.

So that technique is now obsolete, not sure what you mean??

Someone metioned my name but it wasn't me who made the post. My technique has been modified for better results. It's some other Matthew... wasn't me...

    RE: New Polymer Clay DVD

Matthew, I've recently been encouraged by some forum members here to 'roll' some clay :-)
Here's a little background. Several years ago, I thought I wanted to make some stuff from clay. This was before I discovered the world of Wire. Anyway I bought some Sculpey III clay, a blade, a plunger deal, and a little book. Well long story short, I never did anything at all with it. So it set in a shoe box. Then we moved, and it has been sitting in another box in the garage for almost two years. Through the inspiration and encouragement from folks here, yesterday, I found 'the box', and the clay is still good! Funny thang is there was a receipt from Michaels dated 2-26-99 for some of the clay. Anywho to finish the story. I'm gonna practice/play with this old ,cheap, not recommended Sculpey III and see how I like working with clay.

I've always wanted to make my own glass beads...can't afford all the supplies for it. Also wanted to cut some rocks and make cabs. Again, can't afford all those supplies. So that being said, clay seems to be something I can afford...a little at a time, and thus make my own beads, and cabs! So to me that's really exciting and something I look forward to.

I'm rambling, but the bottom line is, I wish you success with your new DVD and know you have made some beauties with your clay and wire. So hopefully one day, I can invest in your instructional materials. I've been told by the PC artists here that clay is very addicting. Oh no, this may mean I will have two addictions...wire and clay :-)

BTW. On another thread you posted a link to an artist you admired. I'll have to check for sure the thread for her link, but WOW her work is awesome, and after reading her BIO, seems she got moving pretty fast in the art of clay..Maybe there's hope for me after all!

Hey WireNut... wow... the clay was good after 8 years! Thanks for the kudos. If I don't advertise it... it's not going to be seen. I'm sorry my self advertising gets on people's nerves. I spend about $800 a month on advertising. It pays for itself though. I'm going to submit it to some magazines for a review. I think that will greatly help also.

Matthew, yep can you believe it? I know it's the stuff most true PC artist don't use, but I figure it's at least something to practice with. You know, kind of like copper/brass wire.

WOW, $800 a month for advertising, that's twisting some serious wire :-) Yeah, I know about advertising here on the forums, but you know what? The more I'm here on the forum, I've realized there's tons of advertising going on, whether directly or indirectly? Just a matter of clicking on someone's web site. I'm okay with everybody selling, there's room for everybody. It's a big, big, world out there and you just never know who watches these boards looking for that special artist/designer.
