    bracelet from hell

I was really excited about a crochet bracelet pattern I designed. I put togeter the four colors I decided to make it with, and threaded my thread. ( The thread was one many people had recommended by I don't like ) I stated the piece and had finished about an inch when I decided one of the colors wasn't right so I took it all apart and started over with the new color. Looked much better. about half way through I realized I had made a mistake in the stringing and I could either crush out the 7 beads or break the thead and add the beads to correct the pattern. I decided to crush out the beads. Well the thread broke and I lost beads so I had to do some restringing on both sides of the break. I had a second missing bead(just one this time so I decided to break the thread and add the missing bead. ) Towards the end of the bracelet i ran short on thread from all the corrections I finally transferrred the remaining beads to a new thread and finished the piece. I just wanted to scream!!! It came out breautiful but I just want to flush it down the toilet.
Thanks for listening just had to get it off my chest.

I hate when it just seems like a piece doesn't want to be created, but it sounds like you finally got the better of it!

    No, no, nooooooooo!
You have conquered it. You prevailed. You learned valuable lessons with this. Keep it for that reason--to remind you of your success in the face of adversity.

What other thread would/could you use next time? I'd like to know for my own use.
I had an ankle bracelet made for a friend that kept breaking. I used nymo D. If there is something more durable I'd really like to know.

Thanks all for your words of encouragement. The bracelet is safe for now-we just aren't speaking.
Gallstones- I used Jean stitch which I know lots of people love but I am not crazy about. I find that the beads don't slide well unless it is conditioned and it frays easier. I like using coates& clark button/craft thread or the upolstery thread but the colors are limited in both. I am gjoing to try some Gutterman top stich next.

It is so familiar to me.... when everything goes wrong even if you fix problems... I never feel good about that piece, and unsatisfied even when it's finally done... It's better leave that work and start something new, and come back to that piece after awhile with "fresh mind" and positive emotions...
