Fireline what weight do u use???

I've asked this question of my bead buddies and each one has given me a different answer. What is you preferance. I have just started doing some projects using seed beads, one instructor told us to get 10 lb weight, which I did, but the instructor that taught the class said the weight was to heavy. We learned how to do the right agle weave. I please to say I'm just about through with making a beautiful bracelet.

I'm sure this question has been asked before.

    Thx.

I just asked my local bead group that same question recently. (I own a store locally and wanted to carry Fireline) Several suggested the 6lb.

I also got some kits at Beadfest from Nordic Gypsy last year and looked back at the Fireline that came in those kits, and it was 6lb as well.

I use 6 lb. Thin and strong enough for reinforcing your work. 10 is too heavy.

    Hi :)

I like 4 or 6 lb. test for any beadweaving stitch. Its far easier to find the 6 lb test at local retailers than the 4 lb test, which I like for square stitching (personal preference). But 6 lb works great for beadweaving.

For any project that is just strung with NO weaving involved, I use 14lb test -- so don't throw that 10lb test spool away!! You can still use it for stringing projects :)
