    no name yet and I don't know if I like it at all

    I made this one yesterday and though I like the idea of making bead caps (and beads) out of coiled jumprings I don't know why I cannot decide whether the whole piece is OK or not...

    labradorite, coral, freshwater pearls and silver











    Any comments are welcome :)

    I don't know what I'd name it but it is absolutely stunning!!! Not sure what you don't like about it. From your title, I was expecting to see something that was just okay, not this! If you don't want to keep it, you can send it over my way. [(-D] Your color choice was perfect. I don't know what else to say but WOW!! This is what I want to be able to do as I progress and get better.

    I like it a lot, Iza. I think the beadcap has a good balance of intricacy and colour. All the colours and textures work well - it evokes images of the sea and caves and, perhaps, pirates' or mermaids' treasure. The clasp detailing is lovely. As a whole I think it would look good on a slim woman with a dark sweater.

    Yes, it's TERRIBLE! Why ... you shouldn't even keep it lying around your house! Send it to ME right away! LOL

    Seriously, you couldn't make a bad piece if you tried! This is another beautiful treasure. :) I think it's just lovely!

    and if she's not home, you can send it right to me!!! It's really lovely - I like the two tiered focal and the wire work is fabulous (as always). THe whole necklace is stunning!

    I think Iza that this one is just nice dainy piece of art. And also I think that lately you were making chunky pieces and now have problem to accept something smaller ;-) but hey! There are women that will die for it! xooxxoxoxo

    this piece is out of the ordinary, as all of your creations!
    I will take it with no hesitation, and will go buy a dress to match it, not the opposite.

    I just love this necklace, and it is something about it that makes me think of Japan, Vietnam or at least East Asia. It is both the color combination and the bead cap that at a distance looks like those cone shaped hats worn by Vietnamese farmers.
    Your are really very creative when it comes to making beadcaps - They are now a bit of your signature! You just have to start loving this necklace - it is the only thing it deserves.

    I agree that this is gorgeous and it's balanced differently than much of your other work, but that's not a bad thing. You usually have a lot more going on "up the chain" from the focal so this one might look strange to your eye or even sort of plain - but it's really very fine with the pendant being the only significant focal, if that makes any sense.
