Well, thank you very much for your kind words. That put a smile in my heart. I do have a harder time selling the long necklaces online. They fly in person so a bust may be where I will have to go with it.

Thank you for taking the time to write. I really appreciated it this day.

    Warmest Regards,

    to: Peridot Diva,

    Hi!

I'm glad you enjoyed visiting the site, it's one of my favourites and when I see something I enjoy I like to introduce others to those websites too, her work is beautiful, I love the way she uses props in her photography and the way she uses materials like leather and silk cords as well as wire in here jewellery.

I hope the new idea is working out for you too, I love to see what everyone is working on.

    Love, Jan

    Dear Szarka,

    Hi!

Thanks, sometimes when you are working on something an extra set of eyes, or a little encouragement makes a difference...

I think that people sometimes need to see a piece being worn, I really like long necklaces and sometimes I make pieces that will convert from a longer necklace into a 2 strand necklace, or a choker and bracelet, but usually people need to try them on before it clicks that it would work for them.

    Love, Jan

I bought a life-size mannequin (the one dressmakers use) where i can drape long necklaces on. Bought it for a bargain ($20, original price is $55) at a garage sale. Very useful!

Here's a sample pic from my website:

Szarka I must say that I am very impressed with your designs AND your photos are fabulous!! This would be the way I would like to show my necklaces. Not a big fan of forms but Eugena ( a member here...sure she won't mind me posting a link) has a form that I really like http://www.eugenascreations.com/n-arabesque.html I don't like forms that are dressed although it looks as though Eugena has used a drape of some sort which looks nice...nice drama with this.
