Hi all,

Just wanted to mention that some of us from various forums are getting together in September in NC for a one week 'retreat'. Good chance to put some faces with names (someone just mentioned that in another thread) and spend time creating with friends, maybe learn something new, share some of your knowledge, etc. We'll be working in wire and metal mostly....everything from chainmaille to wire wrapping to cold connections and soldering etc. Some resin work, patinas, maybe some alternate things like coloring on metal. We'll do some 'challenges' and experiment with some exercises to spark creativity.

Janice, the site looks great….I registered so I could see the retreat details and found a very interesting group of artists. Thanks! My vacation time is completely booked for this year or I would sign up in a minute. Sounds like so much fun!!

Hey Tinks - maybe next year????!! I can only see this getting better each year. :) we'll take photos and all and share afterwards. Actually, we'll have a laptop there so may share during!
