Fireline is a "fishing" line but not like the old monofiliament stuff that would stretch and disintergrate....it is finer and is a trilene or SUPER fishing line....it takes getting use to working with ,,,I prefer power pro fishing line ....a braided line that is downright hard to cut ...as matter of fact only scissors found to cut it regulary is childrens school fiskars...
