That was then, Curbed. I've change since then. Just with currant trend its geared to plastic and plain trashy. Ok, deep breath. The beads the students using was plastic and it was cool at the time. I've moved away from that. Its like there's no choice out there for first timers. [soapbox]

If you don't like the current fad in your area just keep creating what you love and be happy that you are doing what makes you happy. Sometimes fads come back in vogue and you are ready for it with the things you created long ago. And most things were a fad at one time, until the became a classic.

Sometimes its better to bite your tongue. So my tongue being semi-bitten.. If your goal is to sell and make a living off of it you need to go with the trend where ever it is your sell.. however.. trend or not.. you should still bead because you love it, not start beading because "Everyone else is doing it". If you never had any love for the work itll most deffinately show in every piece you create.

Signature
