Nice site - I have it bookmarked [:D]

I am beginning the journey into hot glass myself, and have been admiring your work on wetcanvas. Right now I have been making fused pendants. I haven't worked with my lamworking things for a while now, but I plan to again, hopefully soon.

Look forward to reading your blog . . . Have a wonderful weekend!

    I sure will [:)]

Right now my success rate is lower than I am aiming for, so I just keep pluggin' away and documenting my process to avoid repeat mistakes. I must say, it is definately a learning process working with glass, which seems to have such a will of its own. Much different than working with paints or clay, which are very docile and compliant compared with melted glass. I am working on letting go of the idea of being "master" over the medium to instead find a "partnership" with the glass. Ahven't quite found it, but I'll get there.

I read your blog today, and thouroughly enjoyed it. It was nice being able to take a glimpse inside the creative process and the different ways the journey is manifested in other people's lives. The beads are gorgeous, too, but the process is just as intersting, which is something you don't always get to hear about.

    Cheers,
    Tiffany

Thanks for the nice comments everyone! I'm a blogging fool these days and I tried and tried and tried to get the importance of blogging out to people and finally something hit me. I was tired of telling people so why not make a place for them to actually do it! More people = less work but like Sheila said...I think it's going to turn into more than we think. I know just interacting with the artists is spurring a lot of ideas. I hope it does the same for readers too!

BTW, we just added three more artists!
