Chainmaille faq - not just for chainmaille, though, lots of good stuff!!

Ok - I spent a lot of time putting this together at theringlord.com for purpose of annihilating repeat posts for the same info and to make a quick-reference for a lot of common maille related info and facts. - it was a hit and I'm still adding to it over there to improve it.
So, after all this time, it occured to me that perhaps it would be a good idea t do it, here...
This is mostly cut-and-paste from them, which is why it seems biased toward that forum - I will go through and fix things up, add in a larger variety of references. and so on as they're brought to my attention....I would like to replace all forum post-references with non-forum post references, if you know of a better source to link to please bring it to my attention as well.
For the areas that I just don't know where else to link to - a website, article, other forum post, I marked with: {as?} for alternative source?

There are a few excellent sites that cover all - or most - of this information.
Some excellent sources for history, how to's, inspiration and info galore, supplies, etc:
    www.arador.com ARADOR
    www.mailleartisans.org - The MAIL

    And classic info:

I appreciate your hard work - I can believe your list took time and effort to complile. However, it reads like a giant ad for TRL; TRL is a commercial site that happens to have a forum.

Where there is plenty of information on the TRL forum, the premier site for chain maille information seems to be missing from most of the catagories listed.... M.A.I.L. M.A.I.L. is not list in the Weaves, Tools, Craft, Ring or Jewelry listings.

I would also include Spiderchain, Blue Buddha and Urban Maille in most of your catagories - all three of those sites have loads of information in addition to selling supplies.

Yeah, I need to change some stuff up...right now it's just cut-and-paste from the TRL forum, which is why it seems biased towards TRL, because it is/was...
Any posts on this forum that you think would be good to link to?

MAIL is refered to in there a few times - www.mailleartisans.org is MAIL.
When I detagged the supurfluous bb tags I think I accidently ditched some descriptions that should have been up there.
I think I linked to Blue Buddha, too - somewhere ... Maybe it got lost? Actually- now that I'm looking it over there seem to be a few other important things missing as well, thanks for mentioning that.
When I pasted it over it had the description code on everything - I tried to just delete the url's, and put the descriptions in the front - but it looks like I messed up some! I was afraid that would happen.
The missing description tags makes it confusing.....I need to work on it some more so it's tailored to this site.
Urbanmaille is on there, too :)
    *edit*
Actualy - what I really want to do is remove all links to all forum-posts...
The certain subjects that I listed with post-answers I simply couldn't find the answers to in any other place - I tried to touch at least once on every major maille info source out there, but my knowledge of them all is, unfortunately, limited it seems.

So - if you know of any non-post resources that I can place in there,instead...please point them out to me...just post the ideas and suggestions, here - I'll try to add them all in.

    *edit*
Ok - I went through, added in a few more sources, took care of some tagging issues and added a few needed descriptions.
i'll keep working on it, though, and make it nice 'n' purdy. [:)]
